HOW TO TEACH PHONETICS

Pronounciation through;
  - teaching phonemic alphabet by using evocative / reminiscent elements & symbols,
  - using monolingual dictionary,
  - repetition as a classroom activity by making strange noises,
  - taking studentsí attention to pronunciation features such as sounds and intonation patterns. Pronunciation teaching can be in any stage of a lesson sequence as an integral part of a lesson.
